Conference Code of Conduct
All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at our conference are required to agree with the following code of conduct, and we expect everyone to follow these rules. BSides Brussels organization will enforce this code throughout the event. We are expecting cooperation from everyone to help to ensure a safe environment for everybody.

Please show respect and tolerance for each other. BSides Brussels is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices.
We do not tolerate ANY harassment against ANY person for ANY reason. Harassment and bad behavior include sexual language and imagery, which is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter, and other online media. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the BSides Brussels organizers.
If you engage in any harassing behavior, you will first be warned that this is not acceptable, and you are expected to comply. In case you ignore warnings, you will be asked to leave the conference without a refund.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please do contact a member of our crew immediately (wearing BSides Brussels crew t-shirts). We will be happy to help, contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, or other emergency services as needed to assist when experiencing harassment.
We want you to feel safe for the duration of the conference and ensure the concerns are promptly addressed. BSides Brussels is a non-profit organization run by volunteers, and we value your attendance.
TL;DR Do not be an ass, or we will kick your ass out, and we’re the final arbitrators of what being an ass means.
